Last week, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) announced the availability of approximately $75 million in YouthBuild grant funds to develop programs that will help out-of-school youth ages 16-24 complete high school or GED programs, as well as learn critical skills in construction, health care, information technology, and other fields. Based on the estimate of FY2014 funding, the DOL expects to issue awards of up to $1.1 million to approximately 75 projects.

If your organization is looking to apply for the YouthBuild grant this year, eCivis can help you with your application, just as we assisted the City of Memphis in winning a $1.1 million YouthBuild award last year. You can read about the city's success here (second story from the top).

The deadline for YouthBuild applications is April 22 at 4:00 p.m. EST.
