Noblesville, Indiana lacked a tracking system for grant applications, and grant information. Amy Shankland, the Grant Coordinator for Noblesville, explained, "I knew that in order to have a successful grants team, we needed a solid system in place to help us research proposals and also to keep track of what everyone was doing. I didn't want to spend hours and hours each day in research, which would take away from actually applying for opportunities."
Noblesville invested in Grants Network: Research to navigate through grant funding opportunities and find the most suitable programs. "I like that opportunities come to me and my team each morning thanks to the search engines," said Shankland. Noblesville also added Grants Network: Tracking & Reporting to improve their grants management, from research to post-award reporting.

Shankland stated, "I always tell folks that a colleague of mine in another nearby city spends four hours a day researching opportunities. I spend maybe 40 minutes thanks to eCivis.
