eCivis Expands Technology Expertise, Adds New Northwest Regional Sales Manager

PASADENA, Calif. (June 22, 2006) - eCivis, the local government provider of innovative grant solutions, recently named Bernadette Jurich as its Northwest Regional Sales Manager. From her post in San Francisco, Calif., Bernadette will focus on utilizing eCivis’ training and technology to benefit clients in northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, and Wyoming.

Bernadette strives to lead local governments to grant success by building on the value of eCivis’ products and grant techniques. From the initial steps of finding the right funding opportunity to managing secured grant resources, Bernadette will assist eCivis’ clients to ensure they are using the right tools, technology, and training throughout the grant process. “I plan on maximizing the wide range of grant techniques developed by eCivis to further allow our clients to make a difference in their organizations and communities,” Bernadette said.

eCivis Vice President of Sales Mark McCary first met Bernadette when she served as an Account Executive for various divisions of the McGraw-Hill Construction Group. “Bernadette’s professional background provides her with the tools she needs to successfully guide clients through the pitfalls and challenges that grant seeking can sometimes entail,” Mark said. “At McGraw-Hill, she was consistently in the top 10% of her peer group for sales achievement. A seasoned sales executive with more than 20 years of sales expertise under her belt, Bernadette has provided a variety of technology solutions to the clients she has served. “One of my recent experiences focused on assisting a company with using a database technology that resulted in increased efficiency and productivity for their staff.” Bernadette’s experience in technology makes her exceptionally suited for the position of assisting clients with eCivis’ plethora of toolsets. As she explained, “I have always placed equal importance on post-sales implementation, especially where technology is concerned, to ensure adoption and success for the client.”

Before joining eCivis, Bernadette organized her own business as an independent sales representative for several building product manufacturers. She graduated cum laude from Holy Names College in Oakland, Calif., with a bachelor’s of arts in communications and language arts.
